The Coverdell Education Savings Account is mainly designed as an Investment account to cover educational expenses only and it allows you to make an annual non deductible contribution to a particular Investment account. The beneficiary must be under 18 years of age when the ESA account is opened. This account will grow tax free and withdrawals from the account are also tax free.
