Life Goals. Have you set your life goals yet?

Setting life goals is a bit different than setting a short term personal goal like weight loss. Life goals require you to evaluate what you want from life, what you need, your hopes and dreams. They’re long term.  Though they may be long term, they must still be specific, attainable and measurable. They provide you with a roadmap to where you are going. So how do you go about setting life goals?

First, it’s best if you get into the right frame of mind and environment to set your goals.  As you plan your life goals you will want to set aside time for yourself. Go someplace quiet with a piece of paper where you can brainstorm without interruption. This might be in a quiet room or corner of your home. It might be somewhere outdoors in nature.  One of my favorite places to work on my life goals is on our annual family outing to the Trinity Alps in Northern California.

Becoming a teacher and an educationist, is a preference of some people. These people like to teach and are passionate about imparting education to students who are in the school level. To become teachers at the school levels in the senior secondary and higher secondary, people are required to have a teachers training and education degree in various subjects. Subjects like history, geography, social studies, biology, etc are some of the subjects that are taught in the school levels.

Although, the standard of these subjects that are being taught to the school students is less than the college level, yet there is a good knowledge required which is based on the strong fundamentals. This ability of the teachers is further furnished when they receive the training colleges where they have to study with the bachelor degree in education in the subject of their choice. These b.ed colleges provides them a strong platform to train themselves and equip with the right methodology of imparting education so that they are able to communicate in a better manner with the students.

Not everybody keeps a diary or a journal, but when it comes to internet marketing one of the best things you can do is note down all the things you have done, no matter how insignificant – making sure you put it down on paper, notebook or in a folder on the computer.

People go to the internet, with the intention of making money and that is their only intention.  This may have been okay when the Internet was in its infancy, but now the internet has matured and the fossils have been left behind.  By the fossils, I mean the people that just want to sell, sell, sell.  They dont want to help you make money, they just want to take it. One of, and if not the most important things to do today, is to help people and give them as much information as possible.  That?s right, give them the information.  That means for free! Once you have done this, they will be willing and wanting to give you their money, because they know that you are the real deal and know what you are doing is in their best interests.

Changes are natural when you interact with other people, cultures, and acquire some new information. In this case, it is disputable whether your attitude and opinion change because of meeting with new people that have their own ideas concerning some life concepts or information makes you change your mind. For example, you learn about different cultures and analyze the differences between these cultures and your native one. Your attitude towards representatives of these new cultures may change because you know more about them and understand them better or because of meeting these people and changing your mind about them and their cultures. Your attitude to people around you may change after entering the college/university, especially if you are going to live on campus. Parents There are people in your life that may influence your ideas and attitude. The first people that affect your character and behavior are your parents. They shape your personal traits and try to make you a full-fledged member of society. When you enter the college or university, their influence is less than before. Your parents cannot control your decisions and ideas. You acquire new information about different life concepts and you can shape your attitude towards different things in life without regarding your parents’ approval. Friends Some people think that friends are the primary people in your life. They can influence your decisions if you allow them to. When the influence is acceptable, you can change your ideas concerning something. Your friends may advise you when choosing the college or some difficult issues. Educators When you enter the college, another category of people appears in your life. Educators are believed to be wise people. They can direct your efforts and make a hint on paying attention to some disputable issues. Educators provoke your thoughts and make you take a broad view of things. College life suggests a great number of perspectives and it is up to you to be influenced by others or to make decisions on your own.

By the time you are in your late teens, you have spent more than a decade in school full-time, and the thought of going on to college might just be a little more than you can bear. Although your parents may plea that you continue your schooling, stating statistics that show people rarely go back to school after taking time off, gap year work may be a very good option for you.

The beauty of gap year work is that it isn’t just you strapping on a backpack and being a vagabond for a year. You will sign up with a company that organizes gap year work, and you will work – harder than you have ever worked in your life. You will usually be given room and board, in addition to a stipend, and some time off so that you can travel at least a little bit while you are working.
